Stargate wins Grammy

Norwegian songwriting duo Stargate received a Grammy for Rihanna song "Only Girl (In The World)".
Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen, better known as the producer and songwriter team Stargate, have received a Grammy award for their Rihanna recording "Only Girl (In The World)". This is Stargate's second Grammy award. Two years ago they won the award for best R&B song with Ne-Yo's "Miss Independent".
The Norwegian duo, who will present a master class in collaboration with Music Export Norway in May, have had sensational international success with artists like Rihanna, Beyoncé, Katy Perry and Ne-Yo. In fact, they have had a total of eight number one hits on Billboard Hot 100.
Also, the song "Hey, Soul Sister" performed by the band Train and written partly by Norwegian songwriter team Espionage, received a Grammy in the category Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals.
