Eurosonic 2011 summary

Five Norwegian acts performed at Eurosonic 2011.
Ingrid Olava, Kvelertak, Susanne Sundfør, Moddi and Ost & Kjex performed showcases at this year's Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen.
As often is the case at Eurosonic, the Norwegian concerts were well visited. The metal / rock'n'roll band Kvelertak was NRK P3's EBU choice of the year, and they performed a great set at the venue Vera in front of an enthusiastic industry audience.
- It was great to be back at Eurosonic after stepping in on short notice last year. A big thank you goes out to NRK P3 for choosing Kvelertak, says manager Martha Lyse.
Ingrid Olava (photo) played a charming and intimate set at De Beurs, while Moddi's showcase at The Coffee Company was so packed that people had to watch the concert from the sidewalk.
Ost & Kjex finished off at De Beurs on Friday with their danceable pop-house music.
